Welcome to Chad Criswell.com. Two more races are in the books

On Saturday, April 12th, the team headed over to Lincoln Speedway in Hanover, PA to face 40 other 358 teams. With points handicapping starting, we started 7th in the heat and came up through to finish 4th. Due to the early start time, the track dried out pretty quick… but the car was working well, and another couple of laps and we probably would have made the invert. The 4th place heat finish lined us up 14th in the feature. Todd and the crew got the car really close, and I managed to miss some wrecks, pass a few cars on the dry surface, and finish 6th. The car had a good set up, was racy, and came home in one piece. The entire team was happy with the night, and that it was our third top 10 finish of the season..

This past Friday, April 18th, the team headed back up to Williams Grove Speedway for the second race there this season against 40 other 358 teams. We started 8th in the 3rd heat, made our way up to 2nd , and ended up finishing 3rd. Pat Cannon pulled pill number 11, which based on passing points, lined us up in the 8th starting spot. We tried a few new things, and took a guess on the set up. We were close, and a little faster than the cars in front of us, but the track was pretty much one groove at that point, and I couldn’t do a whole lot to pass. I tried one move to the middle/outside in turns 1 and 2, but there was nothing there, and it allowed the #5 to get around me. We would have finished farther towards the front if I would have had a little better start, but…. I just goofed up, made a bad decision, and that was it….the guys around and in front of me weren’t going to make a mistake. We ended up finishing 9th, which was not too bad. The car was racy, and even though it wasn’t a 'great' night, we came home inside the top 10 against some really competitive cars. The team was still happy with final results, and we are looking forward to moving ahead with what we’re learning.

The Criswell Racing shirts that you see our Team wearing are now available in limited quantity for purchase. We are not selling these shirts to make money, only asking what they cost us to produce. The purchase price is $12.00 a shirt, and depending on what you are looking for, it is possible that sweatshirts/long sleeve T-shirts MAY be available at a small additional costs. To place an order, or for more information, email Karen Criswell at karenandcris@hotmail.com or you can email me at criswellracing@hotmail.com . My Mom is heading up this effort, and is the one doing the ordering/transfer. At this point, shipping may be available, but primarily we would prefer to just bring the shirts to the track. Of course, any type of sponsorship donations are welcome, but our main goal with this is to get as many people wearing our colors and number in hopes of attracting some additional sponsorship.
